Cairn Terrier Relief Fund fun day 2016 September 30, 2016 12:42

We just spent a delightful Sunday in the company of a whole herd of cairns at the Cairn Terrier Relief Fund Fun day in Leicestershire.  The video clip gives you a flavour of the atmosphere, which was full of fun and mischief and a fair amount of yaps.

Classes ranged from best dog and bitch to best sausage catcher and best fancy dress!  Never before have we seen a set of liquorice all sorts on legs, or a pastry chef from the Great British Bake Off!

One of the Fund’s success stories is Baxter, the now three-legged puppy who was run over as a stray and whose recovery is due to the relief fund and its generosity.

Watching reluctant and stubborn pups attempt the agility course was a joy, I mean, who want to trot through a tunnel and do tons of jumping on a beautiful sunny day when you could be snoozing.

As much as anything it was a joy to swap stories with other owners who have similar challenges and blessings in their lives!

Even though Bella didn’t win prettiest bitch, and Hattie didn’t win best veteran, (we was robbed judge! )  It was a great day, and safe to say we were all exhausted, cannot wait for next year.  See you there?

Our best sellers on the day were the Christmoose bandana and our new Cairn Terrier fun art pack.
